What a Desert Horizon Taught Us About Long-Term Thinking
Looking out over a vast expanse of desert is a real eye-opener. In the desert, there is not a sense of rush or noise, nothing is urgent, all you have is the distance in front of you, and a feeling of Time and Patience as they unfold very slowly before you. Through our recent leadership offsites and off-site conference organized through MICEcafe Journey at one of the most inspiring desert retreats in India , we discovered that although the desert appears empty, it is actually full of lessons that can help those organizations who are thinking beyond the current quarter’s Goals and Short-Term Achievements.
